By partnering with FINCA, Eve Echo is able to help the world’s poorest women achieve financial independence by becoming entrepreneurs. For each of these women, an investment as small as $50 is a substantial loan that can help her maintain a roof over her family’s heads, feed her family, and send her children to school. For more than 25 years, FINCA, through its Village Banking program, has been offering micro-financing for women to start small businesses, thereby empowering them to lift themselves out of poverty. It’s the echo effect in action.
